I acknowledge and pay respect to the Tasmanian Aboriginal people as the traditional and original custodians of the land known as lutruwita (Tasmania), and in particular the muwinina people, on whose unceded lands I live and work here in Nepaluna (Hobart).

I honour their enduring connection to land, waters, and culture, and I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
